About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Apache Airflow, Python, FastAPI and SQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise data pipelines while independently troubleshooting production issues, performing root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvements in reliability, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Build and optimize data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, validation, and loading.
• Monitor and support production workflows, identify failures, and resolve issues independently.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents and implement long-term preventive solutions.
• Develop and maintain workflow automation using Python and SQL.
• Manage DAG orchestration, scheduling, dependencies, retries, monitoring, and alerting.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Ensure adherence to data quality, governance, security, and operational best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
