Role Objective:

Part of the country leadership team as the marketing leader of the Bangladesh Business
Custodian of Hair Care Category, P&L, Brand equity, Managing brand lifecycles and Category development
Manage the current business as well as build a robust future
Be the driver of growth in business

Responsibilities:

Strategic:
Custodian Of Hair Care Category P&L, Brand Equity & Category Development
Responsible for delivery of budgeted topline and bottom-line of brands in Hair Care
Responsible for enhancement of market share of individual brands in the Hair Care category
Responsible for building robust category strategy including innovation funnel for continuous growth of the category
Operational:
Development of annual marketing plans for category and brands within the categories
Cross functional coordination for alignment for Timely execution of agreed plans
Play a critical role in S&OP process to ensure marketing investments are well aligned with S&D objectives for the months and quarter
Coordinate with external Media/ Digital/ Creative/ Merchandising / Event Management agencies for regular execution of marketing plan and also develop new ones if required
Develop Marketing Research Requirement & Execute them post approval
Keep consumer connect, Generate consumer insights translating to effective marketing actions
Monitor competitive actions to ensure speedy competitive responses and proactive planning
Regular assessment of manpower and planning for continuous growth of the organization
Financial:
Regular monitoring & review of the brand P&L’s
Take timely actions to protect P&L including pricing changes, formulation reengineering etc.
Ensure robust processes to keep control of ASP as a % of Net Sales
Ensure robust vendor selection processes to ensure competitive rates on all marketing activities
People:
Manage a team of brand managers & executives
Ensure team’s motivation & engagements
Build a high performance & consumer focused culture
Identify team’s training needs and find training solutions for teams continuous development

Education:
MBA
Must Be A Bangladeshi National

Experience:
14 + years of total experience
A mix of sales & marketing experience is preferred though not necessary
Should have worked as a Category head / Group Product Manager for at least 5-6 years
Experience in Hair Care Or Personal care is must
In FMCG Companies Dealing In Hair Care Or Personal Care In Bangladesh
